Michael, You might want to consider upgrading to 6.2. Its much better and has safety features built in so that things like what happened to your H.D. don't occur. It also lets your format and remove dblspaced drives including your boot drive. I think the upgrade is about $10. Well worth it. I think that you may be on to something with regard to dblspace speeding up the redraws etc. I've noticed a speed increase as opposed to people that don't used dblspace, which I couldn't previously account for. As a matter of fact I wasn't getting a noticeable increase in redraws with Liquid Speed, where a client who also has 3DS systems was. They installed dblspace in the same time period that we upgraded their display cards. I attributed the speed increase to the display cards, now I think not. The redraws are now very close with or without Liquid Speed. FWIW -JE
