I think I agree with some of what you're saying – hobbyists *are* content with lousy manuals, and don't get as upset as professionals when they encounter a bug. And you're right about reviewers. Most reviews are poorly done. Some aren't. I wish more reviewers would really sit and think, is this worth $150 of my dollars? And you're right, InterChange is not a flashy product. It's rather boring. It's workhorse. It works, it does what's advertised – but there are no HAM-colored gadgets, no animations, no flashy ads with melon-breasted women being rescued by flaxen-haired bodybuilders. A better question to ask is, why shouldn't Amiga hobbyists expect and demand quality software? PC hobbyists get great software. Look at anything from Borland, for example.
