>> On the old calendar file, it sounds like it's being treated like a network file. Go to File/Open, then hold down your ctrl and shift keys while you double-click on the file name. Then go to File/Utilities/Unlock to unlock the records. I have tried this SEVERAL times, all with the same results; a long pause and then the error message about records locked by another user. I am running WFWG 3.11 (but no network), NDW 3.0, and VSHARE is in my system.ini. I am able to unlock specific days, but not the whole calendar. (BTW weekend days do not need to be unlocked.) If I jump ahead to the next month the problem re-occurs. If I forget to unlock a day and open the calendar on that date I am locked out of everything as the "cancel" button is not effective. I am unable to transfer the info to a new calendar as the same error occurs. If I load SHARE.EXE before entering windows, the problem with jumping from day to day is gone, but I am still unable to transfer the data to a new calendar (record locked error).
