Michael, I have heard recently of a product called "Snappy" that retails for $199 and is supposed to do a darn good job of capture in quite high resolutions. It is just coming to market, so I haven't seen it yet, but I think it would fit the bill for a decent price. A caveat however, I am not sure if it requires that the source to be captured is "still" or not. It might, requiring a perfect still frame when coming from tape, and a stationary video image when coming from a live source. -John
