The above is realistic, and represents a lot of potential power. I haven't kept up with things in a couple of years, but I don't think you you can buy just the 24-bit SGI hardware, similarly equipped, for the entire system above price, can you? I would think something similar on SGI would be perhaps 3-5 times the above, minimum ? Just a thought.
