SGI is more expensive to be sure….but Wavefront just cut
their price "up to" 50%…we'll see what that really means.
Meanwhile, there are actually lots more IPAS's that could and should
be included like Meshpaint, and a careful selection of some of the
older schreiber, and all of the Yost products. I don't know the
functionality of the full line of Digimation products, nor of
Pyros's. There are others. I will be compiling a list, hopefully
with overlapping.
