Video Toaster
Anyone who relies on a product they can't buy right now is a fool. If you
don't want a Toaster, then don't buy one. Meanwhile, NewTek isn't making
the Toaster as a public service, they are doing it to make a profit, and as
a product made with their own hands and minds, they aren't going to release
it until they think it's ready, until they think it properly reflects the
NewTek name. If they've made a mistake by hyping it before it's available,
then they are the only ones to suffer – along with any fool who staked
their job or their reputation on a product that isn't shipping yet. Think
of all the other products that were hyped and not shipped, in this market
or in any market. Would you rather have companies ship products before
their time? Trust me, the Toaster will ship and someone out there will
still complain. The only "frustration" that's building is your own.
