I would second the possibility of a memory protection conflict. I am using
Animator Pro with a TARGA+ card for S-video. Late last month I went
through a dialogues on this forum relating to memory protection conflicts.
One thing I did not mention, since it was not the most frequent symtom, was
a situation exactly as you describe with the mouse. My problem eventually
boiled down to replacing my disc drive.
Incidentally, I also use TCONFIG, not TMODE to start up. It depends on
what kind of device you are working with, whether you use genlock or not.
Talking to my VCR, I leave genlock off. On the other hand, going through
my Panasonic AVE5, I turn it on. (It works for me using no VGA pass-thru,
NTSC 512*486, no memory manager.) My dealer was supposed to be my first
line of support, but he knew nothing. He would have given me the
Truevision dealer support number had I not solved this problem otherwise.
