As you probably know, CDROM-FS is made by a Canadian guy. He's not a big company, I think he still lives with his parents. He probably has another job. Welcome to the Amiga market. His US distributor is Vertical, Inc., who I'm sure has it in stock. Any dealer could call them to get it. They're in Texas. As for why some dealers and distributors lie… I dunno. They do. I just love it when they say a certain company is out of business. Usually, it's just a face-saving gesture, but it's seriously misguided. The sales droid says, gee, the computer says we can't get it, the company must be out of business. Instead, the truth probably is that the distributor isn't paying their bills on time and the supplier refuses to send them more product. How do distributors make money? By borrowing money (in the form of product) from developers.
