Wait to buy CDROM?
I would say that they chances are excellent that current CD-ROM drives will
be badly outdated 3-4 years from now. I would be greatly disappointed if
they were not!!
Of course, the same could be said for most any other computer hardware.
Around 3-4 years ago, people were paying 2-3 times as much for 286 systems
as 386 systems cost now.
You can "wait for something better/cheaper" all your life and never buy
anything. At some point, you have to bite the bullet and get the best you
can at the time.
