Michael, Nah, two and half hours driving, in the car; about an hour and a half on the bike. That's providing the mass migration of the thundering herd of commuters doesn't stop to ogle the latest car wreck on the LIE. I'd like to see just how far those reportedly rubber necks can stretch by applying considerable tensile stress with a rope. Of course, I _could_ take the train, it being ecologogically correct to utilize mass transit, but that would get me there just in time to catch the outbound return train, and the rolling pissoirs the LIRR uses for transporting stock upsets my delicate sensibilites, anywho. I just can't stand all the suits folding the Times to the next page in synchronous paper-crackling cadence.
