Oh, I think I know what this is about… The NASA sampler disc is very
poorly organized. Some directories *only* work on the PC, some directories
*only* work on the Mac. The Amiga is friendly and lets you 'cd' anywhere
you want. The PC can't handle the Mac's (or the Amiga's) flexible file and
directory names, so you can't 'cd' some places on an ISO-9660 disc when
you're reading it on the PC when the disc is meant for a Mac audience. So,
your customer probably sent you a Mac-format file from an ISO-9660 disc,
which is exactly what you said. I'm considering changing a lot of my file
I/O within InterChange so that it automatically recognizes files like this,
and doesn't choke. I had to do it for the Swivel 3D loader for TIO in the
Toaster. Again, if you can tell me which disc and files these are, or
direct me to the customer in question, I'll ask them about it. This is
probably a very important point for my article.
