Well, Danny, welcome to Amiga-Land! I think probably the one thing that will make you fall in love with your Amiga is the easy multi-tasking — every time I get on a PC-clone or even a Mac, I get _very_ frustrated not being able to hit Left-Amiga-N or Left-Amiga-M to get back to the Shell to do something else. Anyway, as to Final Copy, experiment with your Printer settings in Preferences, especially the Density settings. I find for the best output my Star NX-1000 likes the highest setting, although it takes longer. As to graphics — let me recommend a _bunch_ of stuff: if you like doing your own art, Deluxe Paint (3 or 4) is hard to beat. To show off stuff to your friends, there are a bazillion downloads all over the place. Get Mostra or SuperView to look at the graphics files. Or, even better, ViewTek will even display GIF files! HamLab Plus is a _great_ file format converter. GIFs, TIFFs, JPEG files, etc., etc., etc. can be converted to Amiga IFF format, with 6 or 8 different kinds of dithering and so on and so forth. All these programs are shareware, available on BBSs "everywhere," as they say on TV. Lots of luck!
