John, Nancy has answered most of your questions, just like to add that you cannot use the Amiga serial port for a modem, you will have to add one of those cheap and cheerful Multi I/O cards. I use a 386BB with a SVGA card, multi I/O and a dedicated PC 1.44m 3.5inch floppy. It runs windows 3.1 and can even use WinCIM through multi I/O card. I have the virtual 32meg HD set up on the Amiga HD, and 3 megs Ram on the BB. I would say this is about a minimum setup for Windows (leave out the I/O card if you dont need comms). Dont forget that you will need a MultiSync (or S/VGA) monitor to attach to the PC display card and a switch box of some sort to flick between Amiga and PC display outputs.
