John, I noticed the same thing about using IM. Wasn't crazy about the interface at first but after awhile you get used to it. I'm trying to talk a friend of mine into getting IM/FC so I can see it:-). It sure would be nice to work on 24 bit images in real time if that is indeed what that version allows you to do. The genlock is a SuperGen. Latest version (works with the 3000). I thought I really wanted one but decided I guess I wasn't ready. I really should get a laser printer first. Then the 24 bit display board. Anyway, I was asking $465.00 for the SuperGen but would take offers. At the moment, 2 guys from our user group seem interested but who knows. Its virtually brand new.
