Thanks Bruce for the information. Off hand, do you know what label DOS 6.0 puts on the compressed drive? Hopefully not D or E or F because many persons already have drives so labeled. Hopefully, Microsoft was wise enough to use a _high_ letter to avoid conflicts. It was probably foolish for MS not to allow relabeling of drives during instalation. After installing DOS 6.0, does the computer then have two hardrives like the computer does after installing STACKER? I beginning to think that 6.0 is not worth the trouble. I have been satisfied with 3.2 (using Executive Systems' XTREE/HOT combo as my DOS shell). Dan
