Jim: No, I don't think I've used any CD-ROMs in DOS. But I do think your problem is with the drivers, only because I'm always hearing that that's the problem with most of these things. I've been trying to run a program called CD Tray that lets you run audio CDs with a little more flexibility than using SB's program. The author tells me it's a driver problem. I'm still trying to figure that out. Hope you're happy with your system. I found out what I was afraid of: CD-ROM is largely a novelty and not a day-to-day tool. But then I haven't got my hands on that new Beatles CD-ROM! 🙂 Take care, Todd
