Marion, I'm in *I'm not sure what you mean but I'll try it* mode! It takes a bit of translating of what I think 3DS thinks is an object, and now calling it an element! I think the fact that we both have these problems, and that the ways around them are so obscure, really says it's an are that needs addressing in R4. If Gary and the rest start looking at Inverse Kinematics at all, they're going to HAVE to look at pivot/hinge-LINES anyway, so maybe we'll be lucky <g>!!
