HEY, another rag boater alright. Yeah the only thing I have to upload from 3d-studio right now is problems not becouse of the program though but becouse of my inexperience. My background has been 20 years as a Journeyman Shipwright and now Model Shipwright and six months using a computer with Multi-Surf and Renderize-Live but I'm now in transition to using 3d-studio. Unfortunatly (maybe not) I'm going to have to learn 3d-studio faster than previously planned. I found out the hard way that if I import a DXF into 3d-studio from multi-surf then save as a dxf the file will no long be importable to multi-surf. I have some clients waiting for me to learn how to put in the finishing touches to their boats (no pressure really) but I HAVE to learn how using 3d-studio. My next project I plan to use 3d-studio from the keel up. Question; could you look at the 3ds. of a lapworth 55 and give any advice as how to procede with the details and if so where should I upload it? Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks -MIKE-
