What is your network configuration?
I had a customer call with this problem once (but they had TONS of problems)
and it seemed to be centered around the central server drive not being set for
file sharing. All the slaves could access the MCS simultaneously.
When they solved that problems many of their problems went away, I think this
one too but I'm not sure.
Make sure this isn't the case on your system. The easy test is if you can open
the Network Queue on two machines at the same time. You shouldn't be able to
do that, ever and if you can you need to start with fixing that.
If this isn't the problem, please outline your network system in detail.
