#Materials not in animatn
HHHEEEELLLLPPPP!
I've got an EXTREMELY frustrating situation, and I don't know what to do about
it!!
Basically, I can apply materials to an object, and render a still of it, and it
looks great. I can create the animation in the keyframer, and again can render
a single frame, and it's great. But when I render it as an animation, some of
the materials only apeear in Frame 0 and then go to BLACK (default?) from there
on – yup they appear for a flash, and then there's just a moving black-hole in
the animation. And yet I can render any SINGLE frame of the animation, and the
materials are there!
I don't think it's a memeory problem, since it happens even with extemely
simple meshes eg the Forum mesh of the Enterprise NCC1701. There seems to be no
system of which materials are/not affected – some with Texture Maps are
rendered, some are not, some plain materials are rendered, some not.
Anybody got any ideas, since I've just wasted a 30-hour machine-run because of
this problem??????
