Bela, Yeah, I was doing it for a while, but for a different reason. Back then we were all gunshy about Ami, and were desperate to hear of anything available _anywhere_. The main thrust behind that project was to have available a list of what programs were available, but more importantly, when they were first sighted and where. Thus, if you urgently needed a copy of XYZZY, you could check the list and see that it had been available for two weeks from JK Computers and give them a call. I dropped it when the situation stabilized to the point that it just wasn't necessary. Yes, you are correct, it is a _bear_ to maintain one of these. I was glad to be rid of it, in all honest. (Hehe… and yes, it never was kept very up to date; I'll readily grant you that.) I too would be interested in seeing such a list, but IMHO I don't really see it as being worth the effort. Unless it's loaded with info like the old Apple directories, it may be useful for nothing more than a propaganda tool… "Look at all the software available for the PLUGH ][". On the other hand, if someone wants to dive in and do it, I won't begrudge them the pleasure! 8) Nybbles!
