Catherine, <<tell us what sort of objects you are looking for>> Here are a few ideas off the top of my head… Furniture. Not oddball stuff, but practical, everyday furniture. I would also like to see multiple instances of the same piece of furniture in a variety of mesh densities (face counts). I think it is now possible using IPAS to implement an object change based on the distance of the object from the camera. Thus if doing an architectural walkthru, you could change the mesh from low res to high res when the camera gets close enough to notice the difference. As far as I know, this IPAS has yet to be developed, but you could be prepared to strike at this opportunity. People meshes. Low density entourage types, and high density ones. Some quality people meshes cost more than a lot of entire CD collections. I have thus far refused to buy these expensive ones. It would be great to get some on a CD. I think there is also a whole market opportunity for motion data with people because r3 can import keyframe data. If your people meshes came with data for them to walk, take a seat, drink beer and watch TV… Also Talking motion! (Schrieber Instr. sell a mesh set (Oscar Talks) but it looks like Mr. Clean after a swift kick to the nads <g>). Cars – Everyday ones. When is the last time you saw a parking lot populated with Porsches, and Ferraris (well maybe in Beverly Hills, but I live in the suburbs of Detroit). Every other car is a Taurus! Tree meshes. This is an art form. What is really needed is some solution which doesn't use too many faces, but still looks appropriate. Not easy to do and thus a real opportunity. Similar to people for people meshes – nice looking – low face count. A pre-beveled 3D alhpabet in a variety of fonts would save a lot of modelers time. You could take the 3ds fonts, loft them all with a bevel, and just save the letters as a set. Heck, the usual flying logo animations are all beginning to look the same anyway <g>. Good luck, Mark
