Mark,
Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. I am glad that we seem to view
the needs of 3D artists in a similar way.
>> Furniture. Not oddball stuff, but practical, everyday furniture.
Our interiors collection has a lot of furniture meshes and they fall into
historical category. You could say it is a bit unusual by today's standards but
a lot of people were asking for it. However I cannot see why we could not
prepare some everyday stuff for our autumn collection.
>> People meshes. I think there is also a whole market opportunity for >>
motion data with people because r3 can import keyframe data.
Well, you cannot get a better value for money than Humanoid at present. Rather
than trying to compete with it we prefer to make our objects compatible with
it. I cannot reveal our plans for motion data but you can rest assured that we
are working on some cool stuff.
>> Tree meshes.
No problem. As a matter of fact we are working on something along those lines
at the moment.
>> A pre-beveled 3D alhpabet
We will think about this 🙂 Some kind of licencing would be involved for sure.
I will talk about it with Jack.
Our objects come with a lot of textures. What is your view on this? If you were
given the choice would you rather go for clean meshes or textured ones?
Hope to hear from you soon.
