Lewis.. I have been using the SyQuest 105 meg drive with both the Amiga and the Emplant without any problems at all. I saw the ads in AW and they want way too much money, like a external SCSI w/cartridge for $539. MacWarehouse gets $399.95 + $3.00 for next day delivery and you also get the driver software needed for a Mac, also the cables bolt right up to the Amiga SCSI port. The drives now come in 105, 200, 270meg sizes, the 270 also reads and writes to 105 cartridges. I was going to sell my 105 and go for the 270 but then I heard people over in the MAC forums complaining about the 270 trashing the 105 cartridges, so I think I'll wait a bit.. Call Customer service at 1-800-925-6227 and request a catalog. I have only ever had one small problem with MW, they sent me the wrong CD-Rom drive. I called them and I had the correct drive the next day and they had the orig drive picked up at my door no charge. You can also reach them here on CIS, go MW… Eddie.Ski
