My system is very similar, except I have no IDE drives. I have a 2 gig, and a 1
gig scsi, PAR, Sound Blaster 16, ATI Mach 64.
I think the problem you are having is because the dxf3ds converter was created
when 3ds R1 was new, and it isn't as robust as the dxf import built in to the
program. I don't know this for a fact, but it seems plausible. You would have
to ask Gary Y. for certain. I have never gotten that error, thought.
