ana I have a hardcopy question. I'm trying unsuccessfully to render a high res file and get Iris or Fuji prints. What happens is I can easily render 1280×960 for a useful small print or CLC but when I go to these other printers I get what I expected which is jaggies – inadequate file size.<~3.6MB> The image I'm trying to produce is an interior of a highrise apartment at dusk w/ the view of an urban cityscape outside (my problem background). I built the city (my fingers are still sore from the excavating) lit it and rendered it as a 640×480(.92MB) tga and assigned it to the maps dir. for use as my background. At render time start-up is nomal till I get to background and I get the error msg "not enough ram for background work". I've got 32 MB ram available! Earier render attempts put up other error msgs related to ram that I've never experienced before!!!! To me this tga looks just like the others I've assigned in its place that work easily from the WCT cd! If I'm doubling or tripling the 1280×960 file do I need to alter other maps to reflect the new res? If so then what checklist for my prj file do I need to go thru when I am going to render the whopper file? Thanks, Gary(swooning to the power in these Hollowed c ber-Halls) Angle
