Hi Peter – I'm out of the office (sorry for the delay) It's likely that a VESA driver exists for your computer, so that you can run AAPro at high res. If someone at IBM says no, try someone else! Then your alternatives are: Look for a UNIVESA driver (actually, there are some on CompuServe with different names, like UVESA3.ZIP, VESA32.ZIP, UNIVESA.ZIP…) which are TSRs which load and automatically detect a large number of chip sets. XGA support seems likely. If that fails, try contacting PANACEA or VIBRANT Graphics – either company makes Animator Pro drivers which you can buy for your XGA card. Don't ask for an XGA driver, ask for one for your laptop by name. Sometimes the chipset is implemented in a proprietary way, and selecting XGA support doesn't always work. Nik
