Larry, You're absolutely right. A decent sampled cannon sound is what it needs. I was reading the current issue of Amazing Computing; the FutureSound product sounds (pun) terrific! And all for the amazingly low price of $175 (list) ! But seriously, it's amazing how far we've come in the past several years (ie. my Atari 800 with 16K at about 1982). When I download some of the terrific music many talented people have written, and play it on DMCS, I'm in another world. The same world that I'm in when I hear the digitized door slamming or screaming of Uninvited. This is one reason I bought the Amiga (the other was to see the tremendous artwork of Jim Sachs). Mike
