Mmm, sounds like you have a problem that's not common. How exactly do you have your MIDI cables connected? Some synthesizers get confused if you give them their own data back… my DX7, for example, gets rather perturbed with me if I tie OUT to IN and do a lot of fast stuff, and ANY synthesizer will lose its mind if you tie THRU to IN and manage to get a note or two in the loop somehow. To eliminate any possibility of this sort of thing, run just one MIDI cable from your controller keyboard's OUT to the Amiga's IN, then another from the Amiga's OUT to the slave's IN (if you haven't tried this already). This will eliminate any possibility of a loop. We'll get this knocked yet.
