Gabe, two things, none of which are very significant (as usual for me).
The Toys-R-Us debacle, while relatively well known among Amiga users, was
probably unheard of to people not familiar with the machine. The success in
Europe has to do with the fact that before the Amiga even came out, Commodore
had a HUGE base in Europe. Software sales stink because of the huge piracy
rate, but the hardware did very well over there.
Also, I don't think that there are many cards in the mac and ibm world
that give better resolution than the 1024×1024 coming out for the Amiga RSN.
