M2Sprint was bought and squashed by Benchmark, who then proceeded to do
absolutely nothing with either M2SPrint or their own M2 compiler. A year
ago (about) they had a special "sale" on their libraries and the like (my
opinion is they were dumping stock) and have since been totally silent.
There were rumors of someone working on 2.0 defs for Benchmark M2 but I've
heard nothing for several months. I also preferred M2Sprint and was sorry
to see it squelched, but 'tis the American way (if ya can't beat'em, buy
'em out and sit on 'em) …
