Marketing and the luck of being in the right place at the right time explains Microsoft's success, not technical innovation (or even solid trailing-edge technology). However, I also understand your frustrations about the disparity in the available software for the different platforms. Unfortunately, it is rather unrealistic to expect the multi-million dollar development efforts to be directed to a market the size of the Amiga's, especially for "business" software. If that is your main use for your computer, then I'm sorry to inform you that you made a wrong decision when you bought your Amiga. Sad, but them's the facts. – BobR
