Bob, The problem with that reasoning is that the Mac market isn't that much larger than the Amiga's, yet the quality of software is far superior. To carry this a bit further, consider the Next platform and the scope of the software available and being developed. The Amiga could have great software if the software companies developed outstanding products from the start, rather than entry level products which then get continually upgraded but never expanded. If CBM would underwrite software development there would also be a chance for better software. Reality is that great software could be here despite the size of the market. This is evident by looking at what's available for other small market machines.
