Buying a board from Cltd. was truly an education for me. I learned that I
had to ditch the thing ASAP, and did so when GVP offered their Series II
tradeup deal a couple years back. I was so happy with the deal that I
wrote them a letter of gratitude, and also asked them to bury my Kronos in
the nearest landfill (so that no one could possible get their hands on that
curse). The techies called me to commend me on my good taste in HD
controllers, and to thank me for the entertaining letter….
There what appears to be an objective review of the Phoenix board in the
new AmigaWorld (has the CDTV drive for the 500 on the cover). Check it
out.
