Michael — they were just all on top of each other. I couldn't really see any pattern to the pile as I just clicked on the pile and pulled off whatever stuck. But it seemed like all the characters simply moved to the same X,Y co-ords. I haven't done much importing into Corel, thought it is supposed to support the Adobe Illustrator format. I've gone the other way happily, exporting clipart to the .ai filter and bringing that over to the Amiga (complex maps) with no trouble at all. Cheers, Barbara
