As a FCII Rel 2 user, I can only say: No; no; only ASCII (too expensive to create attribute-translators, probably); don't know (don't use PS); possibly, with some REAL good Function-Key defining (or Arexx scripting); fairly good with Release 2's recognition of CG fonts and Type 1 (PS) fonts; Collins British available at least (seen in British magazines); as many as you are willing to write separate "template files" for. If you really need Indexes and Footnotes, you might do better with Wordworth Version 2 (_don't_ get the earlier version); it costs more than FCII but it does have all the fancy link-flagging. FCII is more of a "page-processor" than a "formal" word-processor, and what it lacks in textual-crosslinking it more than makes up for in page-layout simplifica- tion (if you're doing flyers, newsletters, things like that). Personally, I write fiction, an occasional TV or radio commercial script (also usually fiction), and the odd Neighborhood Group Propaganda, for most of which I get very little money and need as much speed and simplicity as possible (and I have a BIIIG print-spooler). If you're writing non-fiction (as I assume) you just might be better off with Wordworth, _especially_ if you want a "British English" dictionary. The best thing you can do right now is get hold of _Amiga_Shopper_ #25 (May 1993), which compares the top Amiga word-processors; if you can't get it locally, it's published by: Future Publishing, Somerton; Somerset TA11 6TB; UK.
