I tried your suggestion and unfortunately it didn't work. I've never horsed around with the controller before. I bought the 2000 about 2 years ago and I know I'm at least the 3rd owner of it. Am I looking for a file called "gvpscsi.device"? I looked for a file with that name and cannot find one. I have the original GVP install disk and a file with that name is not there. I'll try the GVP BBS. When I installed 2.x, I used Commodores start up sequence and dumped the one I had been using. I think there was something about the GVP in the start-up when I purchased the machine. My problem I having isn't life and death so I going to take its resolution real slow. Thanks for the help.
