Mike, Sounds like heat to me. When I installed my Mitsumi, I also installed a second fan in my tower case. My motherboard is stuffed (all the slots are full) and this helps move the air around and prevents hot spots. You should also check your power supply fan to be sure it's moving as much air as it should. They get dusty and their efficiency drops. Also be sure the fan outlet isn't blocked by a wall or desk or other computing debris. Ken
