Rick, Thanks for answering my questions. I am stumped at the moment as to why the windows would fail to appear in 68030 mode. I use an 030 accelerator (GVP) all the time in my machine with no problems. It would seem that something is failing in the task before it opens the window, but that it is not returning. I'll look into this to see what I can find. As for your other questions : – The sizing gadget not working is a bug. Fortunately there is a workaround of sorts. AFT is supposed to remember the window size each time you quit the program, and restore the window to that size the next time you run it. The dimensions are stored in the file "S:family_tree.config". As this is a text file, you could edit it with any text editor to get the window the size you want. – The family.help file is loaded from your current directory. Do you run AFT from the workbench, or the CLI? I think I checked it in both cases, but I will re-check. If you run it from a program like toolmanager, make sure you set up the working directory for it to run from. – Andrew
