I did the same calculation as you regarding a 1200 or a 4000/030 and came to the same conclusion… I *am* very tempted to get a 4000/030 especially as Hobbytte said they'd give me 275 for my 500+ and HD8 which brings their 4000/030 price down to about 700 quid…. very tempting! OTOH I'm pretty happy with my set-up at the mo, I've got 2mb-chip and 4mb-fast same as you, it does all I ask it to… granted slower than I would like but the A530 would see to that.. how do you find the GVP 286 emulator? I've seen them for 99 pounds recently, worth getting? What monitor do use with your flicker-fixer? Thats my ambition… running Autopilot without triggering epilepsy.. <g> Steve
