Andrew, I doubt you would lose the warranty simply because the product is shipped to Canada. Besides, most mail order houses don't handle warranty work, that's why their prices are so cheap. Since it's a Commodore product I would assume that any Amiga dealer can honor warranty work. The bigger mail order houses are very good about replacement of defective units, but that's usually the extent of it. I guess you would have to pay an import duty or tax, but wouldn't that still allow you to get a better price than if you bought "in country"? I buy all my hardware from mail order houses and have never had a problem. Of course if you bought a 386 BB then you'd have to buy Windows and all that great windows' software. When you got done it would cost you a lot more than the $600!! Despite the cost of the BB, the software costs would put a real dent in your pocketbook!!!!!
