Therefore, 1 bit, if it were possible to "read" at the atomic level, could be handled with 1 atom. Ie., it is either a one or a zero. Therefore, the capacity of CD-ROM, is 1 bit, times 33,000 atoms, times 660,000,000 bytes times 8. 660,000,000 times 8 = a large amount 33,000 times 660,000,000 times 8 = a larger amount.
