Andy, No, no-one has been able to show yet that CBM world-wide has hit the skids. It is still a wait and see position (Monday 2nd), there is still a postibility that we will have a much smaller company/s and a continual target of the "Narrow-market" you mentioned. I still see that as being able to keep the Amiga going and working for many of the people here. The Amiga thankfully does not have to be everything to every one like the PC's and Windows, they have a heck of alot further to fall than the Amiga, and from an article last weekend (local newspaper) ref the Microsoft "developement" of Windows, I saw clearly that they came very close to losing it. Their installed user base has to have something-anything to keep on going. Look at what they have got, a huge O/S by our standards on a multiplicity of hardware suppliers (clones etc) I just couldnt and would not afford the programmes you referenced, all that stuff is aimed at companies that can write the lot off against TAX.
