After two near disasters, I made up my mind to do daily backups of my critical data. In fact, when I am doing a lot of work, I'll back up even more often. It's more work in the short haul, but there's nothing so aggravating as working for 6 hours on something and getting a black-out 5 minutes before you're done (except maybe typing Delete DH0: all and walking away).
