We use foot long IDE cables in our Clone PC's…. Should be able to go at
least that far in an A1200.. No? Or, is there a problem with Commodores IDE
controller?
I plan to put an A1200 on my desk soon, and plan to use an external IDE
3.5" drive…. Hope it works!
