Well, I think it was a marketting choice and an accident of history rather
than commodorism. The heritage was digipaint (NTSC) from a small company
in an NTSC country. I think basically, they decided to walk in the U.S.
before they tried running in the World scene. And based on their success
fo date, it is hard to argue with their decisions.
As for the Passport, it looks large enough that there must be a card cage
inside for some other goodies. It is a pretty high price, but again,
NewTek has no control over it since it is entirely Prime Image's creation.
