Hi, I'm relatively new to 3D Studio and I'm trying to create a sailplane which I will render and animate. I've chosen this subject because I like them and I thought It would be a good subject to model because of it's compound curves and I need to do booleans to create the canopy, map on numbers etc. etc. etc. What I'm having trouble doing, however, is creating the fillet between the wings and the fuselage. I created the fuselage using fit deformation in the lofter. I was trying to do the same with the wings and include the fillet but because I'm mating up with a compound curve and not a flat or straight object I can't get it to work correctly. I've spent about 12 hours on it so far and I'm ready to go on to the next task. I'm using Release 2. Is there an IPAS routine that will do what I want? Will I have to attach the wings to the fuselage and create the fillet by manipulating the object at the face or vertex level? Can I acheive the look I want using a smooting group on selected faces? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Miles Beach
