Tony Thanks for the hints. It's 071 490 8881. I could do with a hard drive and Autopilot, I'm used to using OzCIS on a pc laptop and it's an awful lot cheaper and easier than Term (good as it is). BTW, I'm on the pc now and it works fine at 14400. Looks like it could be the serial prefs eh? Keith
