The problem is that aside from the first issue which is somewhat theoretical, the other issues are based on perceptions about humanity, that really can't be debated with a quatifiable conclusion. I can speculate from my perspective and reading of humanities efforts, as you can and still not get any closer to a definitive answer. As a matter of fact one could do a thesis on this subject, which would be quite fascinating. But well beyond the scope of the forum. Then it just comes down to who makes the better points rather than a constructive search for the probability that such an endeavour may occur. I believe that it is inevitable. Like I said I am suprised you don't. But I can see why you don't just thinking about it in a different light. I'm not sure this is a debate I necessarily want to get into a result. If I'm deluded, this is something I would like to remain deluded about. <g> BTW you can do italics with _italics_ . 🙂 -JE
